This Weaverville customer has been working with MWS for quite a few years. Their well has changed and has more iron now than it did when we originally installed the softener a few years ago. The softener was working for the majority of the iron, but it is not designed for iron removal.
So, we had to add an iron filter to the water softener for the family to have the desired results. So now the iron filter removes the iron before the softener. And the softener removes the hard water. Now it’s a much more effective filtration system — no more iron staining in the home.
