Two Homes

WEAVERVILLE, NC --

We were brought a water sample from a well that supplies water to two homes. We tested the water for free and, based on the results, we recommended a water softener to address the 4 grains (GPG) of hardness and a 20"BB Canister Filter to address particulate- to protect the water softener and keep unwanted sediment out of the plumbing. The size of the canister filter and water softener was determined by potential water usage. With two homes on one well, it's important to size the system properly in order to treat the water effectively.

Sediment has the tendency to shred rubber seals in water filtration equipment, such as a water softener. That's why it was important to install the canister filter before the Softener. This installation was a success and we now have multiple happy households with much better water quality!
